The law of conservation of mass or principle of mass conservation states that for any system closed to all transfers of matter and energy, the mass of the system must remain constant over time, as system mass cannot change quantity if it is not added or removed. Hence, the quantity of mass is "conserved" over time. The law implies that mass can neither be created nor destroyed, although it may be rearranged in space, or the entities associated with it may be changed in form

The law of conservation of energy, also known as the first law of thermodynamics, states that the energy of a closed system must remain constant—it can neither increase nor decrease without interference from outside. The universe itself is a closed system, so the total amount of energy in existence has always been the same. The forms that energy takes, however, are constantly changing.

     God created the molecular level magnets out of nothing. They are His "Lego" building blocks for the universe. Molecules do not  evolve over time. All the physcical matter of the universe appeared at the same time. none has been lost none has been gained from the beginning of time until today. Gen 1:1 - "In the beginning God plural created out of nothing the heavenly realm and Physcial realm." But God could have added something to the mix that He made out of nothing. Like Water into wine or loaves and fishes or the birth of His Son.

     The Elements' molecules must have been created at the same exact time because every magnet has a North and a South. There are no mono-poles randomly floating around accidentally attaching to other mono-poles evolving in to dipoles. The South could not have evolved out of the North nor vice versa. Psm 89:12 - "Who created out of nothing the North and the South."
